Cheerful, Attached In-Law Cottage

A bright and airy in-law cottage was the perfect solution for a family who wanted to live in close proximity, but maintain their privacy.

Anchoring the cottage off one side of the back of the house, our goals included making sure the addition blended seamlessly with the original home. Inside, spacious closets line the entry into the space, which includes a handicap accessible bath with walk in shower, a kitchenette and an ample studio area for living and sleeping.

Sizable windows bring in the outdoors and a small deck off the back, provides space for patio chairs.
