Vintage Poolhouse with Office

After purchasing a property with an unfinished storage structure, these clients came to us to convert the cottage into a kid friendly pool house, with an upstairs office.

Wishes included outdoor shower, large windows, a kitchenette, bathroom and office, all with a farmhouse sensibility. Downstairs they selected wood-look tile floors for their beauty and ability to withstand dripping bathing suits. A red vintage refrigerator is the focal point of the kitchenette which boasts an undercounter microwave, open wood shelving and granite countertops. Upstairs, white shiplap walls and ceilings, with skylights, create a light filled office and lounge, overlooking the pool.

From pool parties in the summer to sleepovers in cool weather, the new pool house provides a beautiful, functional space designed to enhance our clients’ active lifestyle.
